Mayor Hanno Benz congratulates City Councilor Michael Kolmer
Mayor Hanno Benz congratulated City Councilor Michael Kolmer on his 25th anniversary on January 28.
"I congratulate City Councilor Kolmer in the service of the science city of Darmstadt for a quarter of a century and thank him for his commitment," said the mayor, who surprised Kolmer during a service meeting with his heads of office. “We have known each other for a long time and have already experienced a lot together. Continue to operate your office in the interest of the city with undiminished power, ”continued the mayor. Benz presented an anniversary certificate, a bouquet of flowers and a voucher from the Darmstadt shop.
Michael Kolmer, born in 1970, came to the science city of Darmstadt in 2000, where he was deputy head of the Office for Economic Development until 2005. Since August 2005 he worked as head of the Office for Economic Affairs and Urban Development. At the end of June 2021, he became a full -time city council and is now a departmental for climate protection, urban planning, green spaces and the environment.
