Weiterstadt invites you to a day full of brass band music, jazz and family activities on August 31st
WEITERSTADT – On Sunday, August 31, 2025, Braunshardt Castle Park will be transformed into a grand stage: Under the motto "A Park Full of Music," the City of Weiterstadt's cultural affairs department invites everyone to its popular summer concert. This open-air event takes place every two years and offers Weiterstadt's clubs and associations the opportunity to present a diverse musical program.
The musical program ranges from traditional brass band music and sea shanties to jazz and orchestral arrangements. Mayor Ralf Möller will host the program. There's also a special entertainment program for children: the SGW's participatory circus, led by Katja Baader, invites young visitors to try their hand at various activities.
Culinary delights are also on offer: The wood-fired oven gourmets from Riedstadt and BarVibes from Griesheim will be serving a variety of food and drinks. Admission to the event is free. However, the concert will be cancelled in case of rain.
