Triathlon will cause traffic restrictions on Sunday morning – detours will be signposted
Frankfurt am Main. Due to the Frankfurt City Triathlon, the Frankfurt-Süd interchange (51) on the A3 motorway on Sunday, August 3, 2025 , from approximately 5 a.m. to 12 p.m. This measure is being implemented by the Western branch of Autobahn GmbH des Bundes (Federal Motorway Company ).
The lanes of the A3 motorway remain open . Only the on- and off-ramps at the Frankfurt-Süd interchange are affected by the closure.
Overview of detours:
- Directions towards Cologne : via the A5 Frankfurt
- Directions towards Würzburg : via the A661 Offenbach
Road users are asked to follow the signposted diversions and to allow more travel time.
