Triathlon leads to traffic restrictions on Sunday morning – diversions signposted
Frankfurt am Main. Due to the Frankfurt City Triathlon, the Frankfurt-Süd junction (51) on the A3 on Sunday, August 3, 2025 , from approximately 5 a.m. to 12 p.m. This measure is being implemented by the West Branch of the Federal Autobahn GmbH .
The lanes of the A3 remain open . Only the on- and off-ramps at the Frankfurt-Süd junction are affected by the closure.
Overview of detours:
- Direction Cologne : via the A5 Frankfurt
- Direction Würzburg : via the A661 Offenbach
Road users are asked to follow the signposted diversions and allow extra travel time.
