A67 temporarily reduced to one lane / Weekend closure of the on-ramp from Mainz
As Autobahn GmbH announces, there will be traffic restrictions in the area of the Rüsselsheim interchange in the coming weeks. This is due to necessary asphalt work to renew the road surface.
A67 towards Darmstadt will be reduced to one lane
From Friday, November 28th, at approximately 10 p.m., until Sunday, December 14th, at approximately midnight, only one lane will be available on the A67 towards Darmstadt . The single-lane closure affects a section approximately two kilometers long .
Weekend closure of the on-ramp from the direction of Mainz
Over the weekend from
Saturday, December 6 (from midnight)
to Monday, December 8 (approx. 5 a.m.),
on-ramp to the A67 towards Darmstadt will also remain closed – for road users approaching via the A60 from the direction of Mainz .
Diversion via Rüsselsheim-East
For the weekend closure, Autobahn GmbH recommends the following detour:
- via the Rüsselsheim interchange towards Frankfurt
- Continue via the A67 to the Rüsselsheim-East junction.
- Turn around there and get back on the A67 towards Darmstadt
Background of the measure
The road resurfacing is necessary to ensure long-term traffic safety. The work will be carried out in two phases so that traffic on the A67 can continue to flow in a single lane during the construction work.
Autobahn GmbH requests that road users drive carefully in the construction and diversion areas and ask for understanding regarding the unavoidable disruptions.
