Autobahn GmbH will be carrying out construction work on several weekends in May and June
The western branch of Autobahn GmbH announces hourly nighttime closures of the A67 at the Griesheim interchange May 10th to June 15th, 2025. Both directions of travel will be affected.
The closures are due to dismantling work on the cantilever scaffolding, the installation of drainage pipes, and the completion of corrosion protection. These works are related to the replacement of the A672 overpass. The closures will take place at night from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Direction of travel towards Basel:
- Saturday, May 10 – Sunday, May 11
- Sunday, May 11 – Monday, May 12
- Saturday, May 17 – Sunday, May 18
- Sunday, May 18 – Monday, May 19
Direction of travel towards Cologne:
- Saturday, May 24 – Sunday, May 25
- Sunday, May 25 – Monday, May 26
- Saturday, May 31 – Sunday, June 1
- Sunday, June 1 – Monday, June 2
- Saturday, June 14 – Sunday, June 15
Detours during the closures
Directions towards Cologne:
From Darmstadt interchange via the A5 to the Weiterstadt junction, then via the B42 to the Büttelborn junction back onto the A67.
Directions towards Basel:
From the Büttelborn junction via the B42 to the Weiterstadt junction, then via the A5 to the Darmstadt interchange back onto the A67.
Large-scale detours:
- Coming from Cologne: Via A3 (Mönchhof Triangle), Frankfurter Kreuz, A5 to Darmstädter Kreuz
- Coming from Wiesbaden: Via A67, A3 (Mönchhof Triangle), Frankfurter Kreuz, A5 to Darmstädter Kreuz
