Bridge demolition requires extensive diversions
The Autobahn GmbH's West branch is demolishing the old bridges that currently carry the A67 at the Rüsselsheim Triangle. This will require a full closure of the A67 in both directions – from Friday, October 10, at 9 p.m., to Monday, October 13, at 5 a.m.
Diversions towards Darmstadt
- U22 diversion Rüsselsheim-Mitte junction onto the A60.
- Widely via the Wiesbadener Kreuz (9) onto the A66, A648 and the Westkreuz Frankfurt (19) onto the A5 towards Basel.
- Alternatively, via the Mönchhof-Dreieck (1) onto the A3 to the Frankfurter Kreuz (22) and from there onto the A5 towards Basel.
Diversions towards Frankfurt
- Take the A60 Mainz , the A671 Wiesbaden to the Wiesbaden-Mainzer Straße junction (5) onto the A66 towards Frankfurt.
- Take the Darmstadt Interchange (6) onto the A5 to the Frankfurt Interchange (22) and from there onto the A3 to the Mönchhof Interchange (1).
Additional closures on October 11
On Saturday, October 11, from approximately 3 to 6 a.m. , the two connecting ramps over the A67 closed.
- Ramp Mainz → Frankfurt: Diversion via Rüsselsheim-Königstädten (29) via U70 Rüsselsheim-Ost junction .
- Ramp Darmstadt → Mainz: Detour via the Groß-Gerau junction (4) via U30 to the Bischofsheim junction (27) .
- Ramp Darmstadt → Frankfurt: Diversion via the Groß-Gerau junction (4) via U90 Rüsselsheim-Ost junction .

Following the successful commissioning of the three new bridge structures, the old bridges can now be demolished. The resulting demolition material will then be crushed and removed.
Autobahn GmbH asks road users for their understanding regarding the necessary work and the associated restrictions.
