Bridge dismantling requires extensive detours
The western branch of Autobahn GmbH is dismantling the old bridges that currently carry the A67 at the Rüsselsheim interchange. This requires a full closure of the A67 in both directions – from Friday, October 10th, 9 pm, until Monday, October 13th, 5 am .
Detours towards Darmstadt
- Via the U22 Rüsselsheim-Mitte interchange onto the A60.
- Take the A66, A648 and the Frankfurt West interchange (19) via the Wiesbaden interchange (9) and the A5 towards Basel.
- Alternatively, take the Mönchhof triangle (1) to the A3 to the Frankfurter Kreuz (22) and from there the A5 towards Basel.
Detours towards Frankfurt
- Via the A60 Mainz , the A671 Wiesbaden to the Wiesbaden-Mainzer Straße junction (5) onto the A66 towards Frankfurt.
- Take the long route via the Darmstadt interchange (6) onto the A5 to the Frankfurt interchange (22) and from there onto the A3 to the Mönchhof triangle (1).
Additional closures on October 11th
On Saturday, October 11th, from approximately 3 to 6 a.m. , the two connecting ramps over the A67 closed.
- Ramp Mainz → Frankfurt: Diversion via Rüsselsheim-Königstädten (29) via U70 to the Rüsselsheim-Ost interchange (2) .
- Darmstadt → Mainz ramp: Diversion via the Groß-Gerau interchange (4) via U30 to the Bischofsheim interchange (27) .
- Darmstadt → Frankfurt ramp: Diversion via the Groß-Gerau interchange (4) via U90 Rüsselsheim-Ost interchange .

Following the successful commissioning of the three new bridge structures, the old bridges can now be demolished. The resulting demolition material will then be crushed and removed.
Autobahn GmbH asks road users for their understanding regarding the necessary work and the associated restrictions.
