Restrictions in the direction of Darmstadt from January 5th to March 21st, 2026
As part of the planning for the new Frankfurt–Mannheim rail line, DB InfraGO AG is conducting geotechnical investigations along the A67 . These investigations serve to document the structural condition of the motorway . The structure and properties of the roadbed and the underlying soil are being examined.
For safety reasons , two lanes will be narrowed in the area of the Gernsheim interchange (8) from Monday, January 5, to Saturday, March 21, 2026. This measure affects only the Darmstadt-bound lanes . Work will be carried out on a section approximately three kilometers long .
On the opposite carriageway towards the Viernheim interchange, the lanes remain fully open .
The Autobahn GmbH des Bundes requests road users to drive carefully in the construction area and to understand the unavoidable traffic disruptions .
