Work on new bridge structures – diversion via Darmstadt interchange set up
The western branch of Autobahn GmbH has completed the replacement bridges for the old ones on the A672 over the A67 at the Griesheim interchange (6) . The new structures were built parallel to the existing bridges.
The next step involves connecting the A672 carriageways to the new bridges. This requires closing the A672 on-ramp from Darmstadt to the A67 towards the Viernheim interchange .
The closure will begin on Monday, October 6, from approximately 5 a.m. and is expected to last until mid-January 2026 .
As a diversion, traffic will be directed via the Darmstadt interchange (26) via the A5 towards Basel to the A67.
Autobahn GmbH asks road users for their understanding regarding the necessary work and the associated restrictions.
