Connection to new bridges over the A67 will be established
The western branch of Autobahn GmbH has completed the replacement of the old bridges on the A672 over the A67 at the Griesheim interchange. The new structures were built parallel to the existing bridges.
The next step involves connecting the A672 carriageways to the new bridges. This work requires the closure of the A672 on-ramp from Darmstadt onto the A67 towards the Viernheim interchange .
The closure is expected to last until the beginning of April 2026. According to Autobahn GmbH, the delay is due to weather conditions. Additional work on the drainage system is also necessary.
A detour via the Darmstadt interchange has been set up
During the construction period, traffic will be diverted via the Darmstadt interchange . The diversion route leads via the A5 towards Basel to the A67 .
Autobahn GmbH asks all road users for their understanding regarding the necessary work and the associated restrictions in traffic flow.
