Concert on October 18, 2025 at the Agora Cultural Center
The Aiolos Reed Quintet will perform at the Agora Cultural Center near Darmstadt's East Station on Saturday, October 18, 2025. Founded in 2024 in the Rhine-Main region, the ensemble comprises five musicians from four nations: David Avendaño (Colombia), Julia Büttner (Germany), Naama Caspo Goldstein (Israel), Ivan Petrov (Bulgaria), and Regina Reiter (Germany).
The unique instrumentation of oboe, clarinet, bassoon, bass clarinet, and saxophone creates tonal colors distinct from those of traditional woodwind quintets. Their repertoire ranges from original contemporary compositions and arrangements of classical works to popular music. The ensemble aims to bring orchestral richness to chamber music and to explore unusual concert venues.
