Amina Bruch-Cincar takes over the parish and preaches for the first time at Easter
The Evangelical Paulusgemeinde Darmstadt is getting reinforcements: On April 1, 2026, Amina Bruch-Cincar began her service as a pastor.
First sermon on Easter Sunday
Shortly after her start, Amina Bruch-Cincar will be seen in a church service for the first time. On Easter Sunday, she will preach at 10 a.m. in St. Paul's Church on Niebergallweg.
The official installation into her office will take place on Sunday, April 19, 2026, also at 10 a.m. The installation will be conducted by Dean Raimund Wirth.
Return to community work
Amina Bruch-Cincar is moving from the Protestant City Deanery of Frankfurt and Offenbach to Darmstadt, where she has served as Vice Dean since 2022. With this move, she is consciously returning to direct parish work.
In the Paulus parish, she will work together with Pastor Ruth Sauerwein and other colleagues in the neighborhood area.
Focus on community and church music
The new pastor's main goals are to offer encouragement and support people in their daily lives. Her work will focus on areas such as church music, senior citizen programs, and adult education.
She also brings personal musical experience: The trained soprano plans to participate in the Paulus Choir herself.
Extensive experience in church and pastoral care
Amina Bruch-Cincar looks back on many years of service in the church. After her studies and vicarage, she worked for many years as a parish pastor in Offenbach, among other roles.
With her move to Darmstadt, she wants to work closer to the people again and strengthen direct exchange in community life.
