Circulation, interviews and self -defense courses for girls on June 13th and 14th
On Friday, June 13, 2025 , the city of Riedstadt will again take part in the nationwide anti-catcall day . From 11:30 a.m., the women's and equal opportunities officer Jennifer Muth to Rathausplatz draw attention sexual harassment in public space with colorful chalk Interested parties - especially students - can write their own experiences on the ground. The campaign is supplemented by interviews.
The event takes place in cooperation with the office for women and equal opportunities for the Groß-Gerau district . At the same time, promotions in Groß-Gerau and Rüsselsheim are also planned. If you want to bring your own experiences anonymously in advance, you can send them by email to catcalls@kreifag.de-you will be made visible on the day of the campaign.
The term " catcalling " describes forms of sexual harassment without physical contact , such as suggestive comments or re -piping in public space.
Self -defense courses for girls
Accompanying the day of the campaign, the Riedstadt women's representative offers two self -defense courses for girls between the ages of 13 and 15 . The courses take place on the following dates:
- Saturday, June 14, 2025 , 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
- Saturday, June 28, 2025 , 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
The trainer is Catharina Bach von " Self.Isicher.Stauf ". The experienced Ving-Tesun-Ski-Fu teacher shows the participants how they can assert themselves in difficult situations.
