A new series of events entitled "For a Coexistence – with Respect: Anti-Muslim Racism in Our Society" will begin in Darmstadt on Thursday, March 5th. The organizers are the Protestant Deanery of Darmstadt and Amnesty International Darmstadt.

The event kicks off on Thursday, March 5th, at 7 pm with a lecture evening featuring Frankfurt political scientist Saba-Nur Cheema at the Offenes Haus, Rheinstraße 31. She will provide an overview of current manifestations of anti-Muslim racism and address, among other things, experiences of discrimination in the job and housing markets, the education system, and public spaces.
On Thursday, March 12th, at 6 pm, an evening with a communal breaking of the fast will take place in the Open House, focusing on the concrete experiences and life worlds of Muslim people.
On Thursday, March 25th, at 7 pm, associations and organizations from the region will present perspectives for solidarity-based action.
