Volunteer position to be filled
A new mediator is being sought for the two Riedstadt districts of Goddelau and Crumstadt; the application deadline has been extended to Friday, January 24, 2025. The current mediator wishes to resign as soon as possible for personal reasons.
Suitable persons (according to Section 3 of the Hessian Arbitration Act) from Goddelau and Crumstadt can apply for this honorary position at the Internal Administration Department of the Riedstadt City Administration (Rathausplatz 1, 64560 Riedstadt). The selection is made by the City Council and the Municipal Assembly. The arbitrator is officially appointed by the Groß-Gerau District Court.
The tasks of the arbitration board include conducting conciliation proceedings in civil disputes and criminal cases. Conciliation proceedings aim to reach an amicable agreement between the disputing parties, thereby avoiding court proceedings. This voluntary activity, for which an expense allowance is granted, is governed by the provisions of the Arbitration Board Act.
