Archives Day on March 6, 2026 at the Town Hall
How can you find information about your ancestors? What possibilities does an archive offer for researching family history? Answers to these questions will be provided on Friday, March 6, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. in the town hall in Weiterstadt, Riedbahnstraße 6.
The event is part of the nationwide "Day of Archives" series, organized by the Association of German Archivists. The Weiterstadt City Archives will present research opportunities and showcase selected original documents on this day.
Support with research and old manuscripts
Those interested gain insights into the work of the archive and learn how historical sources can be used for their own family research. The archivists also provide assistance with reading old manuscripts and offer individual consultations – both for those starting out in family research and for specific questions when existing data needs to be supplemented or verified.
