Elevated concentrations of cyanobacteria currently make swimming impossible
Swimming at the Arheilger Mühlchen lake is suspended until further notice. This is due to an increased concentration of cyanobacteria (blue-green algae), which can pose health risks to swimmers.
To protect visitors, the bathing lake will remain temporarily closed. Water quality is being regularly monitored and analyzed through sampling. The city will announce the reopening of the lake as soon as the measured values are within safe limits.
