Event at the beginning of May in the Geibel forge
in Darmstadt-Eberstadt will host its first art and antiques fair on May 2nd and 3rd . The large courtyard gate will be open from 10 am to 6 pm .
Antiques, art and collectibles
The event is aimed at enthusiasts of historical objects and collectibles. Items on offer include artworks, antique jewelry, silverware, stamps and coins, as well as antique books and furniture. Unusual or rare pieces will also be presented.
Lectures and free appraisals planned
In addition to the sales stalls, a supporting program with lectures is planned. Visitors will also have the opportunity to have their collectibles appraised free of charge.
Nostalgia café in an old residential building
Food and drink will also be available. A nostalgic café will be set up in the old residential building on the grounds, inviting visitors to linger.
Only a few pitches left
According to the organizers, there are still some stalls available both indoors and outdoors. A requirement is that the goods offered at least 50 years old .
Among the items not permitted are new goods, ivory, Nazi-era items, weapons, electrical appliances (with the exception of designer collector's items manufactured before 1975) and animals.
