Works by Florian Foerster can be seen at the BüchnerHaus until September 28th
Riedstadt-Goddelau. The art gallery at the Büchner House in Riedstadt-Goddelau continues to show the exhibition "After Lenz" featuring works by Berlin artist Florian Foerster . Due to continued interest, the exhibition has been until Sunday, September 28, 2025 .
exhibition features etchings, prints, and watercolors that engage intensively with Georg Büchner's novella "Lenz." The literary source material describes the poet Jakob Michael Reinhold Lenz's in Waldersbach, Alsace, during the winter of 1778, and his subsequent mental decline—based on letters and observations by the pastor Johann Friedrich Oberlin.
Florian Foerster himself stayed in Waldersbach in 2018. The sketches and drawings he created there explore the landscape of the Vosges Mountains as well as personal, biographical reflections. The works are an expression of an artistic approach to inner psychological worlds – inspired by Büchner's text and his own experiences.
free during the regular opening hours of the BüchnerHaus (Thursday to Sunday, 2 pm to 6 pm) . The BüchnerHaus will reopen after the summer break on July 31, 2025 .
A catalogue has been published to accompany the exhibition and is available the special price of 16.00 euros
