Hessen Mobil starts construction work on 1 October – completion planned by mid-December
Heppenheim/Dieburg – On Wednesday, October 1, construction work will begin to repair an embankment slide at the Dieburg-Nord junction. The work will affect the ramp toward Hanau on the B 45 highway and the associated embankment. Hessen Mobil expects completion by mid-December 2025.
The entrance ramp has been closed since June 23rd after acute road damage was discovered at the beginning of the acceleration lane. Therefore, access from Frankfurter Straße (L 3094) to the B 45 towards Hanau is not possible. Traffic is being diverted via the B 45 towards Höchst, with a turnaround at the southern junction, back to Hanau. This regulation will remain in place until the work is completed.
During the construction period, the roadway in the area of the acceleration lane on the B 45 in the direction of Hanau will also be narrowed and diverted.
Scope of work
- Removal and stepped reconstruction of the embankment (270 metres long)
- Renewal and compaction of the road embankment
- Removal and reconstruction of the roadway in the affected area
- Repair of the acceleration lane
- Renewal of the drainage line with plastic pipes
