Hessen Mobil will start construction work on October 1st – completion planned for mid-December
Heppenheim/Dieburg – On Wednesday, October 1st, construction work will begin to repair a landslide at the Dieburg-North interchange. The ramp in the direction of Hanau on the B 45 and the associated embankment are affected. Hessen Mobil expects completion by mid-December 2025.
The on-ramp has been closed since June 23rd, following the discovery of serious road damage at the beginning of the acceleration lane. Access from Frankfurter Straße (L 3094) to the B 45 towards Hanau is therefore not possible. Traffic is being diverted via the B 45 towards Höchst, with a U-turn at the Süd interchange back to Hanau. This arrangement will remain in place until the work is completed.
During the construction period, the roadway in the area of the acceleration lane on the B 45 in the direction of Hanau will also be narrowed and shifted.
Scope of work
- Removal and stepped reconstruction of the embankment (270 meters in length)
- Renewal and compaction of the road embankment
- Removal and reconstruction of the road surface in the affected area
- Repair of the acceleration lane
- Renewal of the drainage pipe using plastic pipes
