Concert evening with Acero Antico and Rahel Maas on September 12th in Weiterstadt
Weiterstadt. A special musical experience awaits the audience on Friday, September 12, 2025 , at the historic Braunshardt Castle : As part of the "Listen in the Monument" , the city of Weiterstadt invites you to an evening of Baroque music . The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. , with doors opening at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are €10 available now at the Weiterstadt City Office
Under the title "Radiant Female Figures of the Baroque," the ensemble Acero Antico, together with soprano Rahel Maas, will perform works by Baroque female composers – including compositions by Bianca Maria Meda , Anna Amalia of Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach, and Élisabeth Jacquet de La Guerre . The program is complemented by highlights of the German-Austrian early Baroque period.
The event is a collaboration between the Sparkassen-Kulturstiftung Hessen-Thüringen and the Sparkasse Darmstadt . The impressive ambiance of Braunshardt Castle provides an atmospheric setting for this evening of culture, history, and music .
