City announces rapid reinstallation of safe routes to school
The city of Weiterstadt reports that the speed cushions installed Büttelborner Weg , intended to reduce speed in the school route area, were recently vandalized. For safety reasons, the cushions had to be temporarily removed.
According to the city administration, replacements were immediately arranged . The new Berlin speed cushions are to reinstalled as soon as possible to fully restore traffic safety.
Weiterstadt reiterates the importance of this safety feature: The Berlin cushions significantly contribute to ensuring that students can safely cross their route to school . Respectful treatment of this safety-relevant infrastructure is in the interest of all road users.
