New traffic calming measures are intended to make school routes safer
in the area around the Albrecht-Dürer-School and the Anna-Freud-School in , as well as around the sports field. The work has begun and, according to current plans, should be completed this week.

Traffic calming elements are being replaced at five locations after they were previously damaged by vandalism and no longer functioned properly. These "Berlin cushions" reduce speed and contribute to increased traffic safety, particularly in sensitive areas around schools.
Short-term traffic disruptions may occur during the construction work. The city asks for your understanding and points out that the measure is for the safety of school routes.
