Bunliang Indianwies has been involved internationally for decades for working with search dogs
The Association for German Schäferhound (SV) EV, local group Groß-Gerau, has a particularly committed member: Bunliang "Noy" Inderwies , who celebrated its 65th birthday on July 3.. Their decades of commitment to rescue dog sport extends far beyond the borders of Germany and also includes voluntary activities at the Nauheim volunteer fire brigade. Her life connects two continents - and a great passion: working with dogs.
From the village in Thailand to Groß-Gerau
Growing up on a farm in Udon Thani in the northeast of Thailand, Noy Inderwies was surrounded by dogs early on. However, her fascination for service dogs began during a stay in London , where she worked as a cook and got to know the work with police dogs. After moving to Germany in 1991, entering the Mörfelden local group of the Shepherd's Association and the Federal Association of Emergency Dogs EV (BRH) .
A key moment was their care of the Japanese national team during a BRH World Cup in Germany. International cooperation aroused their interest in competitions and deepened their enthusiasm for dog sport - especially with shepherds .
International success in rescue dog sport
Their sporting breakthrough achieved in 2010 with the 18-month-old shepherd "Forrest from the Mörfelder Land" : Together they became the winning team of the German Championship of the VDH in the BRH Association . In 2013, the international highlight followed with the victory in the "3rd Iro Testing Nederland" in the "Rümmer B" category. In her home country, too, Noy was considered - especially with the organization United Sar K9 , which belongs to the IRO .
Engagement in Groß-Gerau and Nauheim
Since 2018, Noy Inderwies has been an active member of the Groß-Gerau local group of the German Shepherd and founder of the rescue dog squadron at the Nauheim volunteer fire brigade , together with Jutta Klar and Gerd Wiebel. Not only surface search dogs , but also mantrailers (person seekers) trained there for an emergency. The season is now an important part of local disaster protection.
Construction work in Thailand - with royal recognition
Noy remains active in Thailand too: In her hometown Udon Thani, she built a modern dog place with rubble grounds . This is used free of charge by local clubs. In addition to military representatives, the ceremonial inauguration in February 2023 were also on site. The Thai royal family not hidden from her commitment: Princess Bajrakitiyabha to interpret in a competition.
In December 2022, at the request of the princess, Noy completed a three-week training and examination phase in the "Military Dog Battalion" in Nong Sarai (Province of Nakhon Ratchasima). Her specialist knowledge and her calm manner made a big impression - she still refused an offer for a permanent job. Her home also remains Germany, where she continues her voluntary work with great modesty.
Between two worlds - with heart for dogs and humans
"My dogs are my children," says Noy Indderwies about their close connection to their four -legged friends. She never forgets the human aspect: cooperation, exchange and mutual respect shape her work in clubs and aid organizations. A woman with an international format - and a model for cross -generational volunteering.
