Invitation to the information event in Reinheim
You read it again and again – “Senior citizen cheated out of a lot of money”, “Trick theft in the shopping center”, “Savings swindled with grandchild scam” – the types of trick fraud know almost no bounds, especially older people are being cheated out of their savings with increasingly perfidious methods.
To raise awareness and convey what can be done and observed to avoid falling victim to these scams, the city of Reinheim, in cooperation with the police, is hosting an information afternoon on this topic.
On January 20, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., the police will give a presentation in the Heinrich-Klein-Saal at Kirchstraße 24 about various types of fraud and answer questions from those present. Mayor Manuel Feick: "It is very important to me to raise awareness, especially among our older citizens, and also to alleviate their fears. Therefore, I am pleased that we have been able to organize this event and hope that many citizens will take advantage of this opportunity."
