Folk-Blues Evening on November 27, 2025 at the Bessunger Knabenschule
The final concert of this year's Americana autumn program at the Bessunger Knabenschule will take place on Thursday, November 27, 2025 , featuring Biber Herrmann , one of Germany's most distinguished folk and blues musicians. The concert begins at 8 p.m. (doors open at 7 p.m.).
The musician, originally from the Rhine-Main region, blends singer-songwriter poetry, virtuoso guitar playing, and acoustic blues into a unique musical language. His playing and lyrics are characterized by warmth, depth, and an authentic earthiness that resonates with every audience.
His latest album , "Last Exit Paradise," explores light and shadow, love and new beginnings, political awareness and personal renewal. With a smoky voice and a keen sense of nuance, Herrmann tells stories that touch the heart and provoke thought.
The legendary concert promoter Fritz Rau once described him as "one of the most authentic and important folk-blues artists in our country," who carries on the traditional blues with vitality and soul.
