Action on August 21 aims to improve theft protection
Darmstadt. The 1st Police Station invites you to the coding of bicycles and e-scooters at Bismarckstraße 16 on Thursday, August 21, 2025. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will complement other security measures such as sturdy locks, GPS trackers, and proper connection.
For coding, you'll need an identification document, proof of ownership, and information about the manufacturer, type, and frame number. Owners of e-bikes or pedelecs should also bring the battery keys. Carbon bikes cannot be coded.
