Allegedly stolen bicycles have not yet been linked to any crime
Following the recovery of two bicycles believed to be stolen, the Darmstadt Criminal Police publicly seeking the rightful owners. The bicycles were recovered on September 22, 2025, during a bicycle theft on Wickopweg in Darmstadt .
Police arrested two suspects at the scene of the crime and confiscated the bicycles. Despite extensive investigations, the ownership of the bicycles has not yet been established. Therefore, the criminal investigation department is now requesting information from the public and has released photographs.
Description of the seized bicycles
The first bicycle is a silver Staiger Florida model. The second bicycle is green and a Serious Rockville model. A notable feature is a sticker on the top tube relating to police bicycle training.
Police asks for clues
Anyone who recognizes one of the bicycles or can provide information about the possible owners is asked to contact the Darmstadt Criminal Police. Information can be provided by calling 06151 / 969-0.
