Dark grey bicycle may be from a crime – information requested
Police in Darmstadt are searching for the owner of a confiscated bicycle. The bike was discovered in the Herrngarten park on March 9, 2026, and has been in official custody ever since.
Bicycle found in the Herrngarten
Emergency services found the abandoned bicycle in the area of the roundabout in the Herrngarten park. It is a dark grey men's bicycle of the brand "Serious".
According to the police, it cannot be ruled out that the bicycle was stolen in a crime.
Investigations so far without success
The investigation so far has not led to the identification of a rightful owner. Therefore, the police are now publicly appealing to potential owners or witnesses with a photograph.
