Roadworks during the Easter holidays – traffic disruptions possible
Construction of the planned bicycle street on Goethe Street is progressing. As the city administration has announced, extensive asphalt work will take place during the Easter holidays from April 7th to 17th, 2025. This may lead to temporary traffic disruptions and full road closures.
The first step involves milling off the asphalt at the intersections around the fire station before applying the new asphalt layer. This measure is an essential component of the planned bicycle street and is intended to improve traffic safety for cyclists.
Since the work is weather-dependent and the delivery of the asphalt plays a role, delays in the construction process are possible. The city asks for your understanding regarding any potential disruptions during the construction period.
