Works by Florian Foerster to see until September 28th in the Büchnerhaus
Riedstadt-Goddelau. The art gallery at the Büchnerhaus in Riedstadt-Goddelau continues to show the exhibition "to Lenz" with works by the Berlin artist Florian Foerster . Due to the persistent interest, the term of the exhibition was until Sunday, September 28, 2025 .
Etching, prints and watercolors are shown , which deal intensively with Georg Büchner's novella "Lenz". The literary template describes the stay of the poet Jakob Michael Reinhold Lenz in winter 1778 in the Alsatian Waldersbach and his psychological decay - based on letters and observations by the pastor Johann Friedrich Oberlin.
Florian Foerster spent himself in Waldersbach in 2018. The sketches and drawings created there deal with the landscape of the Vosges as well as personal, biographical reflections. The works are an expression of an artistic access to mental inner worlds - inspired by Büchner's text and his own experience.
The exhibition can be visited during the regular opening times of the Büchnerhaus (Thursday to Sunday, 2 to 6 p.m.) with free admission . After the summer break, the Büchnerhaus will open again on July 31, 2025 .
catalog for the exhibition , which is available special price of 16.00 euros
