Mountain bike recovered after attempted theft
Following an attempted theft at Karolinenplatz in Darmstadt, the police are looking for the rightful owner of a recovered bicycle.
Crime observed on the TU campus
On the afternoon of October 19, 2025, witnesses observed a person tampering with a locked bicycle in the area of the TU campus at Karolinenplatz. The suspect, a 25-year-old man, was taken into custody.
Owner currently unknown
The seized bicycle is a Cube Aim Pro mountain bike, in black and green. Despite being seized, the bike has not yet been returned to its owner.
Police are asking for information
The police in Darmstadt are asking for help: Anyone who can provide information about the owner or recognizes the bicycle is asked to contact police station 35 on telephone number 06151/969-0.
