City library offers novels, children's and young adult books to browse
Starting Monday, September 8, 2025, the Weiterstadt Library invites you to a small book flea market in the Media Ship. Visitors can browse a diverse selection of novels for adults—from crime and thrillers to historical and science fiction. The selection is complemented by children's and young adult books.
All media come either from well-preserved donations or from items retired from the library's collection. What's unique about this is that guests set the price themselves, with only a minimum base price per item serving as a guideline.
The flea market is open to the public during regular library opening hours and will last at least one week. The goal is to give books a second life and enable readers to make new discoveries.
