Author Manon Hopf will present her new book of poetry on December 3rd.
As the city of Darmstadt announces, poet Manon Hopf will present her new poetry collection, "hier steht dein mensch. verwandlungen" (here stands your human being. transformations), at the Darmstadt Literature House on Wednesday, December 3. The event is being held in cooperation with the Darmstadt Text Workshop and is free of charge.
Presentation of the new poetry collection
Manon Hopf, former author of the Darmstadt Text Workshop and winner of the 5th Gerlingen Poetry Prize 2024, presents her book "hier steht dein mensch. verwandlungen" (here stands your human. transformations), published by hochroth Verlag. In it, she critically examines Anthropocene boundaries and questions established ideas about humanity and the environment.
Event at the Literaturhaus Darmstadt
The reading begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Literaturhaus Darmstadt (Kasinostraße 3).

The event will be accompanied musically by Dina Kehl (viola da gamba), who studies double bass at the Bern University of the Arts and, together with Manon Hopf, combines poetry and music in an improvisational style.
