The municipality is participating in the career orientation day
The municipality of Nauheim has announced that it will again participate in the nationwide "Girls' Day and Boys' Day" event, which takes place on April 23rd. The initiative aims to provide students with unbiased career guidance.
Under the motto "Your Day, Your Path!", companies and public authorities across Germany are opening their doors. The programs are generally aimed at young people in grades 5 to 13 and are designed to provide insights into career fields where women or men are currently underrepresented.
Insights into daycare centers in Nauheim
The municipality of Nauheim is also participating in the event and is offering places in several facilities. These include the daycare centers on Schillerstraße, Schwanenstraße, Neckarstraße and Ochsengrund.
The administration reports a high level of interest. Inquiries for deployment at the Schwanenstraße daycare center are still being accepted.

Internships available year-round
In addition to Boys' Day, the municipality of Nauheim offers the opportunity to complete a student internship in the administration or to gain practical insights into the work of the municipal daycare centers throughout the year.
“In addition to Boys’ Day, the municipality of Nauheim offers students the opportunity to complete an internship in the administration throughout the year or to get to know one of the municipal daycare centers through an internship. In this way, we create different incentives to get a taste of the professional fields within a municipality,” adds Christian Wachsmann, Head of Central Services and Finance at the municipality of Nauheim.
