The Büchnerhaus in Riedstadt-Goddelau invites you to the literary-Science leadership on June 28th
On Saturday, June 28, 2025, the Büchnerhaus at Weidstraße 9 offers a special thematic tour: From 3:00 p.m., museum director Peter Brunner central aspects from Georg Büchner's story "Lenz", accompanied by scenic representations by members of the Büchnerbühne Riedstadt . The event brings literature and theater in direct exchange - a lively access to one of the main works of the Hessian poet.
Büchner's fragment "Lenz" describes episodes from the life of the poet Jakob Michael Reinhold Lenz , who was looking for refuge with pastor Johann Friedrich Oberlin in 1778 in the Alsatian Waldersbach. The text is based on Oberlin's diary records and was created during Büchner's exile in Strasbourg. The literary representation moves between the psychogram and the socially critical comment - and is still one of the most impressive prose texts in German literary history.
The leadership combines well -founded insights into Büchner's work with a theatrical reading and is suitable for everyone who wants to learn more about the literary Büchner and his work.
