Mayor, fire brigade and city administration provide information about current topics
Around 60 citizens accepted the invitation to the citizens' meeting in the Gräfenhausen community center on May 12th. The well -attended event offered insights into central developments in the city - from infrastructure projects to fire protection to childcare.
Current projects and flight routes in focus
Mayor Ralf Möller opened the meeting with a detailed overview of running and planned projects in Gräfenhausen and the entire city of Weiterstadt. The debate on the new departure route of the Frankfurt Airport, which should also affect Gräfenhausen in the future, was particularly interested. The mayor also informed about the Ohlystift - a project that employs many in the city.
Fire brigade and daycare center as further priorities
In his lecture, city fire inspector Christopher Michna illuminated the role of the volunteer fire brigade and focused on the operational readiness and the importance of the volunteer. Cooperation within the emergency services was highlighted as particularly positive.
Ariane Krug from Nidda, head of real estate management, then presented the new daycare center in the castle school. Her report on construction progress, equipment and educational planning was very interested in those present. Many then took the opportunity to visit the new daycare rooms on site.
