Citizens discuss with administration about ICE-Trasse, parking situation and fire brigade
At the citizens' meeting in the Bürgerhaus Schneppenhausen, around 35 citizens the opportunity to find out more about current developments in Weiterstadt and Schneppenhausen and to get into conversation with the administration.
Fire brigade in focus: Report of the city fire inspector
After the greeting by city councilor Manfred Dittrich, Christopher Michna gave an insight into the work of the city fire brigade . He presented current challenges and innovations and emphasized the importance of volunteers for the security of the community.
New line of the ICE route and wastewater disposal
A central theme of the evening was the general drainage plan , which forms the basis for future -proof wastewater disposal and protection against heavy rain. Mayor Ralf Möller also informed about the planned new line of the ICE route , which will also affect Schneppenhausen. He explained the current plans , the possible effects on the region and the measures of the city to represent the interests of the citizens.
Park situation and cemetery modernization
The parking situation in Schneppenhausen was also intensively discussed. The mayor presented existing solutions and informed about future measures to improve the situation.
Nadia Mazouz from the cemetery administration reported about innovations in the Gräfenhausen-Schneppenhausen cemetery . The ongoing modernizations should make the cemetery more functional and appealing - both for mourners and for employees.
Open question and answer session and citizens' dialogue
Finally, Mayor Ralf Möller the questions of the citizens. In an open citizens' discussion, not only current concerns were discussed, but also ideas and suggestions that should flow into the future work of the city administration .
