The Active Citizenship Foundation praises growth and engagement in Darmstadt
According to the Darmstadt Civic Foundation among the ten most successful civic foundations in Germany, as reported in the current "Benchmark Civic Foundations 2025" by the Active Citizenship Foundation . The foundation achieved top rankings in the categories of "absolute growth" and "growth per capita," thus being recognized for its sustainable commitment.
The benchmark was published as part of the "Report on Community Foundations 2025" . Nationwide, 435 community foundations based on asset growth, donation income, and grant amount – both in absolute figures and in relation to the population of their operating area.
Fifth place in wealth growth
In the category "absolute growth," fifth place with an increase in assets of €1.375 million The foundation also performed well in the category "growth per capita," ranking tenth with €8.35 per inhabitant .
