Election night at the Central Station
For the election of the German Bundestag, the science city of Darmstadt, in cooperation with the Centralstation, is once again organizing an election night this year.
The election night on Sunday, February 23, 2025, at 6 p.m. (doors open at 5:30 p.m.) is open to the public and admission is free. For security reasons, bags will be checked at the entrance.
Throughout the evening, the election results reported from the polling stations in the city of Darmstadt will be transmitted directly to the Centralstation and presented on a large screen. The political representatives present will be questioned about the results on stage. Hessian Broadcasting (hr) is expected to provide live coverage from the Centralstation. Dr. Jürgen Schraten, Head of the Statistics and Urban Research Department at the Office for Economic Development and Urban Planning of the City of Darmstadt, will moderate the event.
