New business event focuses on genuine conversations, clear insights and lasting contacts
(PR) – The new event format “Business Encounters – Networking the Right Way” will premiere on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 , a networking evening that deliberately takes a different approach than classic business events. Organized by Noack media production GbR, the format is aimed at entrepreneurs, freelancers, and decision-makers from the Rhine-Main region who are looking for an exchange on equal footing – beyond exchanging business cards and elevator pitches.
The event will take place at the Gute Landung beer garden in Egelsbach . Doors open at 5:30 pm, and the official start is at 6:00 pm.
Keynote talk with Kay Lied: Networking with conviction
The central program item of the evening is a panel discussion with Kay Lied , who is considered an experienced bridge-builder between small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), business, and innovation in the Rhine-Main region. Kay Lied is the regional director for Frankfurt Rhine-Main of the German Association for Small and Medium-Sized Businesses (BVMW) and managing director of KAY LIED GmbH.
Under the title "Networking – but done right", he talks about...
- why networking often leads nowhere,
- how visibility can be achieved even without noise
- and how trust is built, from which sustainable business relationships can grow.
The presentation is explicitly not intended as a promotional speech, but rather as a practical, in-depth report of experiences with a clear stance.
Open networking instead of rigid formats
Following the talk, the focus shifts to personal networking. In rotating discussion groups and open table formats, dialogues unfold without time pressure or the obligation to pitch. The goal is to gain new perspectives, learn from one another, and build lasting connections – everyone decides for themselves how actively they wish to participate.
