Hesse's Health Minister praises Maurer's work – New managing director takes over in times of change

The ceremony was attended by numerous guests from politics, the city, the hospital sector, associations, and health insurance companies. The large turnout underscored strong network within the Hessian and national hospital landscape.
, City Treasurer and Head of Hospital Affairs André Schellenberg emphasized that Maurer had taken over the hospital during a difficult economic period and successfully stabilized it. The 39-year-old business administration graduate previously worked at Helios , and most recently as Head of Finance, Controlling and Taxes and Deputy Chief Financial Officer at the University Medical Center Mainz . Axt assumed his first management position at the age of 29.
Sven Axt himself emphasized that he was looking forward to further developing the hospital together with the medical director, Dr. Jörg Noetzel , and the nursing director, Michele Tarquinio, as part of a management team based on mutual respect. He sees the hospital as a well-positioned institution in an exciting phase of change.
