Two charging points with up to 22 kW power available on the club premises
On Tuesday (September 2), a new charging station for electric vehicles officially opened in Weiterstadt. Located at the club grounds at Am Aulenberg 2 , residents can now charge at two charging points with up to 22 kilowatts of electricity.
The initiative originated with the Weiterstadt Sports Community , which highlighted the need for publicly accessible charging infrastructure in this area last year. Following this, the city of Weiterstadt and the regional energy supplier ENTEGA jointly planned the construction of the site.
The new charging station will further expand the e-mobility offering in Weiterstadt and strengthen the charging infrastructure at central points in the city.
