Two charging points with up to 22 kW power are available on the club grounds
A new charging station for electric vehicles was officially put into operation in Weiterstadt on Tuesday (September 2nd). It is located on the club grounds at Am Aulenberg 2 , where residents can now charge their vehicles at up to 22 kilowatts at two charging points.
The initiative originated with the sports club in Weiterstadt , which last year highlighted the need for publicly accessible charging infrastructure in the area. Subsequently, the city of Weiterstadt and the regional energy supplier ENTEGA jointly planned the development of the site.
The new charging station further expands the range of e-mobility options in Weiterstadt and strengthens the charging infrastructure at key locations in the city.
