"Judas" in the Trinity Church
Ben Hergl performs "Judas" in the Chawwerusch production. In the solo piece, the controversial apostle has their say, which according to the Bible has revealed Jesus.
He has therefore been held responsible for Jesus' death on the cross for 2000 years, is considered the epitome of the traitor and was repeatedly abused as a reason for prejudice and anti -Semitism in any form. In a staged show, he now meets the audience in a person and can finally speak for himself. The audience hears what drove up to the contemporaries and glowing admirers of Jesus of Nazareth to take the matter at the time in the garden of Gethsemane. A shocking monologue that amazes, explains a lot, but also leaves a lot open. Anyone who listens is thrown back on themselves.
