Concert with Carmen Piazzini, Peter Wolf and Ingo de Haas on 25 October 2025
On Saturday, October 25, 2025, the Chopin Society Darmstadt you to a special trio evening. At 5 p.m., the Great Hall of the Kranichstein District Hall will feature the Piano Trios in G minor, Op. 8, by Fryderyk Chopin, and in D minor, Op. 63, by Robert Schumann. The concert will begin with four impromptus by the society's namesake.
Participants include pianist Carmen Piazzini , violinist Peter Wolf , and cellist Ingo de Haas . All three musicians are internationally sought-after and have formed a well-rehearsed ensemble for many years.
Chopin's Piano Trio Op. 8, a rarely performed early work, is considered a special rarity. Combined with Schumann's Trio, the audience can expect a program full of romantic soundscapes.
