Local gift box supports businesses and includes a city voucher.
As the town of Groß-Gerau announces, residents can once again look forward to the popular Christmas box this year. For the fifth time, the town's economic development agency and the Groß-Gerau business association are offering an exclusive Christmas promotion, highlighting local products as a gift idea for the Advent and Christmas season. Under the motto "Give a piece of home," the Christmas box brings together selected products that represent the region's unique characteristics.
Local gift idea with regional products
"The Christmas box is a valuable support for local businesses and also a great gift idea," emphasizes Jörg Leinekugel, chairman of the local business association. The aim of the campaign is to strengthen the local economy and to highlight the local shopping experience.
The Christmas box contains regional specialties and gift items, including a light-up house with an LED tea light, a Christmas stollen from the Darmstädter bakery, chili jam from Mike's Chili Kitchen, a cork bag, and the "GG-Scheck" city voucher. Packaged in a decorative Christmas gift box, the box is perfect as a thoughtful present for family, friends, colleagues, or for your own enjoyment.
“The Christmas box brings joy and connects people with our city,” says Mayor Jörg Rüddenklau. It offers an opportunity to discover local products and strengthen the community at the same time.
Three versions with integrated city voucher
The Christmas box is available in three price options. The entry-level option starts at €20 and includes a €10 "GG voucher." Further options are available for €25 with a €15 voucher and for €30 with a €20 voucher. Additional vouchers can be added later, allowing the box to be flexibly tailored to individual preferences.
Since the number of boxes is limited, early reservation is recommended. Orders can be placed online via the form on the city's website at www.gross-gerau.de or by email to weihnachtsbox@gross-gerau.de . Please include your contact information, the desired box type, the quantity, and your preferred pick-up date in your order.
Collection from the Groß Gerau City Museum
Reserved Christmas boxes can be picked up at the Groß-Gerau City Museum (Am Marktplatz 3, 64521 Groß-Gerau). Pick-up times are Wednesday, December 17th, and Saturday, December 20th, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Payment is due in cash upon pick-up.
