Last loan days before the holidays and start dates in the new year
The five branches of the Riedstadt municipal library will be closed briefly during the Christmas holidays. Those wishing to stock up on reading material beforehand can do so on the last opening days in December at the branches in the districts of Erfelden, Goddelau, Leeheim, Crumstadt, and Wolfskehlen.
In Erfelden, the library will be open for the last time
on Wednesday, December 17 , from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. In the other districts, the libraries will close on Thursday, December 18 , at their regular times.
- Goddelau, Leeheim, Crumstadt: 4 to 6 p.m.
- Wolfskehlen: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
After the Christmas break, the locations will reopen on Monday, January 5, 2026 Tuesday, January 6, 2026 respectively .
- January 5th: Erfelden 10 a.m. - 12 p.m., Goddelau 4 p.m. - 6 p.m
- January 6: Crumstadt and Leeheim 10–12 a.m., Erfelden 3–5 p.m., Wolfskehlen 4–6 p.m.
Digital lending remains available even during the closure: via Onleihe Hessen at

Users can borrow ebooks, audiobooks, and other digital media at any time. A free library card for the online lending service is available at all branch libraries.
