As the city of Weiterstadt announces, Braunshardt Castle Park will once again be transformed into a festive Christmas setting from December 5th to 7th, 2025. Nearly 70 exhibitors have registered for this year's Christmas and crafts market.
Festive atmosphere and handcrafted products
Mayor Ralf Möller emphasizes the market's special character: The festively illuminated castle and park create an inviting atmosphere where numerous handcrafted gift ideas and culinary offerings are presented. A curling rink also provides some sporting variety.

Musical program and children's activities
Local music clubs will provide musical accompaniment on Saturday and Sunday. The brass ensemble of SG Weiterstadt, music department, will perform at the official opening on Friday at 5 p.m.
On Saturday from 5:30 pm, the Weiterstadt band Les Clochards perform. On both afternoons, St. Nicholas will also visit the market and bring joy to the youngest visitors.
Arrival information from the city
As parking around the castle park is limited, the city of Weiterstadt recommends using public transportation. Alternatively, parking is available at the sports halls or the train station. On Sundays, the NORMA supermarket parking lot can also be used.

The Christmas and crafts market is open from December 5th to 7th, 2025:
- Friday: 5:00 PM–10:00 PM
- Saturday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Sunday: 1:00 PM – 8:00 PM
