Three dates in February
With Klaus Mertens (Bariton) one of the most important singers of the global baroque scene in St. Ludwig is a guest. Together with Astrid Brachtendorf (baroque trumpet) and regional cantor Jorin Sandau on the two organs of the Ludwigskirche, he brings songs and festive arias by Johann Sebastian Bach and Georg Friedrich Händel and others to be heard. A special focus of the program is the festival representation of the Lord on February 2, which offers another reflex on the past Christmas.

Organ exchange
There is another concert at the ecumenical organ winter , as part of the traditional organ bench exchange in the Pauluskirchenkantor Lukas Euler in St. Ludwig. He plays works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, Cesar Franck and others. At 5:30 p.m., the interpreter introduces the works to be heard.

New wing
At the end of last year, the municipality of St. Ludwig Darmstadt bought a high-quality wing for the teaching and rehearsal work of the regional cantorate. As part of a benefit concert, soloists from the choirs will present the new instrument together with professional instrumentalists and regional cantor Jorin Sandau.
Entry is free to provide donations to finance the project.
